Leah started working in the veterinary field over 13 years ago and has progressed her way up to management. She attended Auburn University and studied animal science which lead to her pursuing her veterinary technician degree. She is a registered (licensed) technician and is currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary practice manager.
She became interested in the veterinary field when she was in high school and her family adopted their first dog which had been severely abused. After taking him to the vet at least once a week, Leah was inspired by the care the veterinarian provided and was amazed with how quickly her family’s dog thrived.
Leah and her husband live with their toy poodle, Lily, on a houseboat on Lake Lanier while in the process of building a house. She’s happy to be a part of the Loving Hands family and looks forward to meeting new clients and their pets – next time you come in, ask to meet her!
